HONOURING AND SUPPORTING
Truth & Reconciliation

We acknowledge and celebrate our event's presence on ancestral Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee land. We respect the longstanding relationships and treaties with the local Indigenous communities: the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation and the Six Nations of the Grand River. We are working to make truth, reconciliation, and education a part of our organization and events.
Joining us this year...
Indigenous Reflections is working hard to preserve First Nations culture, language and traditions. They are looking to educate through new and innovative ways, while keeping a connection to their Indigenous past. They work with different First Nations across Canada to create new materials that promote our values and our traditional way of life.
Items will be available for purchase.
EDUCATION is what got us here. And EDUCATION is what will get us out.
Survivors from the former Mohawk Institute Indian Residential School (the mushhole) in Brantford will be onsite with us to educate, answer questions, present resources, and raise awareness for the Mohawk Village Memorial Park project. Donations for the project are welcome.
GoodMinds.com is a First Nations family owned business who is passionate about Indigenous education. They will be onsite with First Nations, Metis, Inuit and Native American educational resources and products.
